The Specialized Timber Products (S.T.P) Limited is a wood processing company located in Kumasi-Ghana. It was established in 1985 and production started on January 1986.

From an initial staff strength of 42 personnel, the company has expanded considerably within the decade. And by the beginning of 1998 the labor strength had risen to about 508 personnel, seven of which are management and staff.

Specialized Timber Products Limited is presently one of the top ten leading exporters in Ghana.

1- The first objective is to ensure regular supply of wood products to our buyer without interruption.

2- The second objective is to supply our buyers with environmentally friendly species from a sustainably managed forest.

3- By supplying wood products produced from lesser used species to substitute the primary species which are becoming endangered by adopting this policy the pressure on these endangered species will be reduced and the forest will be better sustained.

4- By introducing and supplying  the lesser used species we can guarantee our buyer a regular supply and in the volumes required by our buyers.
